Orujo, called “Marc” in Catalonia, is made from the distillation of the residue from pressing grape bunches.
The aromas of each variety are concentrated in the skin of the grape and, through distillation, a spirit is obtained that retains all this essence.
Pale in color with greenish reflections. Clear and bright.
Intense aroma, with nuances of white fruit, a spicy and dried fruit background.
On the palate it is dry and tasty, with creamy notes and a touch of wood. A good distillate base with a long and pleasant finish.
It is interesting to combine it with certain desserts made with nuts and chocolate. It is also excellent with creamy pastries in general.
