Trepat is a red grape variety native to the area. Light and fruity wines are produced, with good acidity and low-medium alcohol content. It ripens late and buds early. Vigorous. The berries are large and compact. Sensitive to spring frosts.
Historically, rosé wines have been produced, but in recent decades several producers have come up with very interesting proposals. Here is the new 2023, from the Sarral cooperative cellar.
