Hayman's London Dry Gin is a classic style gin distilled from a family recipe using a blend of ten botanicals.
The botanicals are left to infuse for a full day before distillation to allow the flavours to be released into the spirit. The careful and consistent balance of juniper, coriander, lemon and orange peel is vital in the creation of this traditional London Dry Gin.
This distillery located 40 miles east of London uses a traditional 450L copper pot still that was hand-made by German family business Carl, who have been making pot stills since 1869.
Their copper still is named 'Marjorie' after Christopher's mother, the current chairman of Hayman's, who was the granddaughter of James Burrough (the creator of Beefeater gin). She was the person who introduced Christopher to the family business and the world of gin. Marjorie died when Christopher was young, and so Christopher chose this name in memory of his mother.
