Bowmore It's the first distillery registered on the island of Islay, just off the west coast of Scotland. It was founded over two centuries ago in 1779, and is one of the oldest in all of Scotland.
The Single Malt Whiskies Islay malts are renowned for their peat smoking and Bowmore is no exception. They carefully smoke their malt in a peat kiln just as their ancestors did over 200 years ago.
