70 cl bottle.
Fortified wine from the DOC Carcavelos; the smallest of the Portuguese denominations. It is located in the Lisbon region.
A project that revives ancient techniques for the production of fortified wines. Wines acclaimed by the Marquis of Pombal and by the illustrious President of the USA, Sir Thomas Jefferson, a great oenophile.
The recommended temperature for tasting is 8-10ºC.
Its salinity and freshness are surprising. Notes of dried fruit, plums, almond blossom... a wide range of aromas that invite you to continue tasting this exceptional Portuguese wine.
The varieties that make up this wine are white. Galego dourado/ Arinto/ Ratinho
Aging in wood, both new and used, is of vital importance in these Carcavelos wines.
We recommend drinking it with strong cheeses or various starters or sweet desserts or a Havana cigar.
