
Old Cartoixà Vermell vines, the name given to the Xarel lo Vermell variety in the lower Gaià area. (Tarragona)
It is an orange wine, the grapes macerate with the skins for a minimum of 20 days and then rest in stainless steel vats for a minimum of 9 months.
The soils are generally sandy loam with low fertility. The sea breeze, called Marinada, which begins to blow around ten in the morning in the summer months, protects it from excessive heat.
