The rums with which the is made rum appleton Extra 12 Years Blend are hand-selected, and have been aged for a minimum of 12 years in American oak barrels.
Light mahogany color with golden edges. Aromas of oak, walnuts, nutmeg, orange peel and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and robust with fruity notes, cocoa, orange peel, vanilla coffee and a hint of toasted almonds.
